The Bangladesh garment factory worker said she would give up all of her rights if her family would pay for her care.
The garment factory in Bangladesh where she worked for 15 years said last month it would pay the entire cost of the $9 million (U.S.) surgery she needed.
But she told The Washington Post she is not willing to do that.
“I don’t want to pay my bills, I want to go home and be a widow, and be in a situation where my son has to die,” she said.
