The machine can be used to make many different things, but this simple plastic bag made from a sheet of fabric has been used to process fabrics for more than a century.
Now, thanks to a team of researchers from the University of Toronto, we know how the machine actually works.
We have already done an article about the washing process, and now we are looking into how it works.
A paper published in the journal Science shows how a machine called the Fabric Machine can be programmed to wash cloths and other fabrics in different ways.
“What we are learning about the fabric machine is that it’s basically an algorithm that we use to process different kinds of objects and we can now combine that with a very flexible system that we can apply to fabric, fabric-making, fabric processing, fabric assembly, and we will be able to do it in very general ways,” said Giorgio Gaudreault, a professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University.
The fabric machine has a two-stage washing process.
First, it makes a strip of fabric from a polyethylene material, which is made from paper and can be made from many different materials, like cotton, polyester, wool, and linen.
The strip is then cut to shape, and the machine then takes this shape and cuts the strips to size.
The second stage involves removing all the unwanted parts.
This is where the machine separates the parts and removes all the materials.
The final step involves washing the fabric, and then the cloth is cleaned and dried.
The first step was to get the paper into a tube.
“We have a machine that’s basically a tube and it’s actually a tube with two sides.
One side is for washing the paper, and one side is the machine that makes the paper,” explained Gaudresault.
The paper strips are then put into a bag and put into the machine, and it starts washing the bag.
Once it is done washing, it starts to separate the strips into different parts.
“In this case, we are trying to separate two different types of parts, and those parts are two different kinds and then we separate them.
The machine then separates the different parts into separate parts,” explained Gaudreaults.
This machine has been programmed to do many different tasks.
One of these tasks is to wash cotton fibers.
“The machine can wash cotton fabrics, it can wash wool, it also can wash linen, and all the different materials can be washed in the machine,” said Gaudrez.
In order to wash the fabric itself, the machine has to be programmed in a way that can be automated.
“When we put the paper in the bag, it has to wash.
And then, when we put it back out into the washing, we have to wash it again.
And we have also programmed it so that it can only wash cotton and wool,” explained F. J. Gaudrero, a researcher at the university.
This system has been tested on many different fabrics, but it is only recently that we have been able to combine it with a programmable fabric, which enables the machine to process all the other kinds of materials.
“When we do this, we can make all kinds of different things,” said Professor Gaudereault.
